My Holidays in Sandy Point
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I’m going to talk about my holydays. My last vacations were in Sandy Point. We decided to go because my family wanted to visit Torres del Paine. We were a big group, it was composed by my grandmother, my aunt (which are my immediate family), the sister of grandmother and her son.
We went there in the summer of 2017 and we spend two weeks at a family house. Even though we were in summer it was pretty cold. So, if you want to visit this place you might wear a jacket and a pair of hiking boots, or any kind of warm shoes.
The weather is chilly, rainy and windy. But there is a lot of activities that you can enjoy and there are also plenty interesting places. Especially if you like the museums. We went to Sara Braun palace, Salesian Museum, Cultural Centre Braun-Menendez and Nao Victoria Museum.
We also visited some really pretty places in the city like Municipal Cemetery. The architecture is absolutely stunning and landscaping is unusual. This place it really worth it. But the most beautiful places are the natural parks, like Torres del Paine and the Pingüino King Parks.
Hi Nicol! Some years ago my family and I would like to go to Torres del Paine but I have a serious problem: the cold. I hate the cold and I can't imagine a holiday without the beach, the sun burning my body or have a picnic in the grass. Do you believe visiting Torres del Paine is worth to lost a hot summer in other place by a cold summer like the winter?

Hi Nicol, you were so lucky of went to the “Torres del Paine”, it seems like a beautiful place. I don’t know Punta Arenas even when my family lives there.
