My Experience at University
By Nicol Ramos
Hi
everyone! In this post I’m going to write about my experience in the university
and compare it with all the things that my mom and my
grandmother tell me about it.
As
already told you, my mom gave birth when she was a teenager. I remember the notebook
with plenty exercises, that my mom has to do every night. She studied commercial
engineer.
Back
then, what I knew about university it was that people have to study a lot. His
friends teach how to make a circular graphic when I was five. I thought that they
are like genius or something like that. Because they can answer all my questions.
For example: How is made the T.V or Why
it rains?
When
I was twelve, my grandmother start to study a postgraduate in the University of
Santiago. She used to tell me that students over there were really nice. And
they make a lot of parties, and they even drink alcohol. So, I think maybe is
no so boring going to the university.
In
my experience University has been an adventure. The first day that arrive here,
I lost. I been giving rounds for Baquedano for fifteen minutes, to find the stop
of the bus. Then when I arrive to the campus, I went to the institute (ICEI)
and didn’t knew where it was the auditorium: “José Carrasco Tapia”. I fallow my
instinct and I arrive early. But, that didn’t work out so well, to find the classrooms.
I get in to other class. I stay for half hour. Even I note the name of teacher
and some notes. But when she said: this signature is one of most difficult of
the fifth semester. I knew that I was wrong.
My first year in the university was great. Everything
was so different, even the people. In summary: I made new friends. I found a
lot of veggies. And the education is much better that in high school. And I’m
still impressing of the library of philosophy or the orchard in Art.
Bye
guys! See you in the last post.
