My dream job
When I was little kid I
want to be an archeologist. I dream about work with the fossils. I wanted to know everything about the
oldest civilizations in the history.
I was full of
questions: How they used to live? What they believe in? I wondering if their
goods were similar to mine. I wanted to know how they used to imagine the
world.
I used to think about the pieces that they left behind, not only the bones, even a stone could tell you so many things. I imagine myself traveling around the world searching the vestiges of the past in the present.
When I was ten years old my mom brought me a book that I wanted for months. I sat in the flour of the supermarket to read it while my mom buy the groceries, and one day she gives it to me as a gift.
The name of the book
was “Human” and I still have it. The book talk about the evolution of the human
being, about the different cultures around the world and their social rules.
My grandmother used to
take me to the museums of natural history, she even took me to see mummies in
the north of country.
To be very honest I didn’t
thing about the salary or anything similar. When I grow up I realized that he corrects
name of profession that I wanted to be, it was anthropology. And I get interested
in social anthropology. I change my mind when I was about to finish secondary school,
when the doubts started, but that is another story.
The world of archeology must be great, I think that more than one child or girl sounded with finding fossils with more than a thousand years old.
